We have some great clients, and we are so thankful that they put the health and welfare of their special family pet members with us. Everyone here will do our best to help with your pet’s needs whether beginning as a puppy, kitten, or senior citizen. We have been so blessed to have very caring, competent, and responsible staff, both now and in the past.

Dr. Haylee Brown

Dr. Haylee Brown graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Haylee has been practicing veterinary medicine in West Tennessee since 2013 and in Martin since 2016. She bought Hooks Pet Clinic in March of 2021. Dr. Brown lives in Martin with her husband, son, four dogs, and one cat. She loves all companion animals and treats them as her own. Her professional interests include ultrasonography and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, kayaking, fishing, traveling and reading.

 

Sarah Elizabeth Walton

Sarah Walton is our Head Veterinary Technician here at Hooks. She graduated from UT Martin Vet Tech program in 2017. She has been with Hooks for 5 years, starting when she was a student part time. She has been head licensed technician here since 2019. Her professional interests include ophthalmology and clinical pathology. She enjoys Disney, sewing, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She’s mom to three dogs and three cats.

 

 

Savanna VanDusen

Savanna VanDusen is a graduate of UT Martin Vet Tech program and will be taking her test for licensing in the fall of 2021. She has been with Hooks since 2018. She graduated from UT Martin in spring of 2021 and will take her test for her Vet Tech license in the fall of 2021. Her professional interest includes anesthesiology. Her personal interest includes home steading and crafting.

 

 

 

Jennifer Mansfield

Jennifer Mansfield is the first person you meet when entering our clinic. She is our Head Receptionist as well as being a registered Veterinary Technician and a graduate of UT Martin Vet Tech program. Jennifer has been with Hooks since 2014. She enjoys crafting, reading, D&D, and gaming.

 

 

 

 

Chloe Martin

Chloe Martin is one of our part time veterinary assistants. She is a student at UT Martin in the pre-vet program. She is the newest member of our staff.

Malinda Riddick

Malinda Riddick is another of our part time assistants. Malinda is also a student at UT Martin in the vet tech program. She has been with Hooks since 2020. She enjoys crafting, reading, and being with friends and family.

 

 

 

 

Alexis Reynolds

Alexis Reynolds is our new receptionist. She is a graduate of UT Martin veterinary technician program but is licensed in the state of Alabama now. She will be transferring her license to Tennessee shortly.

Mary Jones

Mary is a student at the University of Tennessee Martin with a major in Veterinary Technology.   She works as receptionist and also helps as veterinarian assistant.   She has worked at Hooks since October of 2020.   When Mary has time, she enjoys painting, crochet and goes to the park with her dogs, Sam and Webber.
